The name e-Jan reflects our desire to spread products and services that make society exclaim, "This is e-Jan!"—with the same excitement we feel ourselves. In Japanese, e-Jan! means "That's cool!" or "I like it!"
CACHATTO, launched in 2003, has grown into Japan’s No. 1 remote access service since 2012. It supports flexible work styles by ensuring security while enabling seamless work on mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
In 2018, we established a development and sales base in Bangalore, India. The "Secure Container," developed with feedback from customers in India and Japan, addresses frequent connectivity issues in remote environments using innovative communication technologies, achieving dataless terminals. This groundbreaking service is attracting widespread attention.
To achieve flexible work styles, balancing security and convenience is crucial. We don’t just provide services—we use them ourselves, making e-Jan the test subject. We quickly adjust internal policies, continuously exploring socially meaningful flexible work styles.
As a result, e-Jan Networks’ employees are evolving their flexible work styles. As of 2024, we have relocated our headquarters to a shared office, creating an environment where employees can work flexibly from home or various offices. Almost all employees use the Secure Container to perform their tasks.
Thanks to the Secure Container and updated internal policies, employees from diverse nationalities and backgrounds can continue working even during life events or home visits. Additionally, it has been proven that the Secure Container allows employees to work efficiently, without connection speed issues, even from overseas.
